Chiacchiere, also called crostoli, frappe, bugie or cenci, are the typical desserts usually prepared during the carnival period. The recipe that I propose will allow you to make crumbly and bubbly chatter, a real treat for the palate. As per tradition, the version I propose is that of fried chiacchiere, but by following a few simple steps we will obtain chiacchiere that, although fried, seem almost baked although light and without grease.
